antique furniture. Simply because an
antique chair usually brings with it a magical story from the period it was
created. Every chair tells its own
story.

You won’t find the usually luxury adjustments on an antique office chair like you would find on today’s modern office chairs. But, it’s almost like if the antique chair is still more comfortable. Each individual chair was designed in a loving way, by hand, by a living person who measured and painted and lovingly made sure that every piece fit perfectly together.
A far cry from the mass produced plastic swivel chairs of today.
Then of course there is the investment value. There are a select set of products that become more valuable with age. Simply due to the design requirements of an antique office chair, production at any level higher than a small scale is all but impossible. There are too many curves and joints to have produced them on a large scale 75 or 80 years ago.
You will find that most of the best museums display antique office furniture to highlight the particular period and to describe the events of the world around the time the furniture was built.
